Who we are

We are two longtime civil society activists who are dedicated to helping progressive causes to have impact — with over 20 years’ experience in designing, leading and evaluating campaigns in Brussels and beyond.

Roshan Di Puppo

I’ve worked for social and environmental causes for most of my life. I’m based in Brussels, and from 2007 to 2010 I was Director of Social Platform, a coalition of 47 NGO confederations pushing for social justice in Europe. Before this I led several campaigns in a variety of NGOs, like the fight for an EU directive against discrimination, an initiative to stop violence against migrant women employed as domestic workers, and the struggle to get workers’ rights in developing countries recognised as human rights.

I’m a graduate of Sciences-Po, the College of Europe and the University of Louvain-la-Neuve, with Masters degrees in Political Science, European Affairs and Humanitarian Aid. In 2011 I got my MBA from the Open University, focusing on management for the not-for-profit sector.

Mehran Khalili

I’m a campaign specialist, based in Athens. I ran communications at Social Platform in Brussels from 2008 to 2011, as well as for the Spring Alliance campaign, a mass civil society and trade union movement.

In parallel to my work with Clearcase, I’m active in various volunteer initiatives in Greece, with a focus on communications and media. I’m also a photographer and fascinated by the intersection of activism and art.

Before working with progressive causes I was in the private sector in London, advising global tech companies like Philips and Novell on their communications strategies. I also worked for several years as a management consultant with Andersen. I have an MBA from the University of London, and graduated in Communications and Management Studies.
